We are seeking a dedicated and robust Full-time Operations Manager to join our dynamic team, with an immediate start preferred. This pivotal role reports directly to the Head of Events and Activations and is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong operational backbone who can excel both as a team player and independently. In this role, you’ll also play a part in developing and refining our operational strategies to drive consistency, efficiency, and high-performance execution across all campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in the flawless execution of our diverse projects, from initial concept to final delivery. Your core duties will include:
• Developing detailed plans for Below-The-Line (BTL) activities, including timelines, resource allocation, and logistical arrangements.
• Tracking expenses, managing costs, and ensuring that campaigns are delivered within the allocated budget.
• Managing all operational aspects of projects from the initial briefing through to comprehensive close-out reports.
• Effectively managing and coordinating third-party suppliers, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during the execution of campaigns.
• Overseeing site visits, event setups, and branding installations, providing hands-on management to ensure operational excellence.
• Applying strong knowledge of Health & Safety protocols to ensure all activations and events adhere to stringent safety standards.
• Maintaining meticulous project administration and documentation.
What We're Looking For:
• Preferably 3-4 years of proven experience in an operations management role, ideally within an events or marketing agency.
• Demonstrated strong operational capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of sports operations and stadium environments is a distinct advantage.
• A hard-working individual who is highly committed and prepared for late nights, weekend, and public holiday work as required by project timelines. You are not a "clock-watcher."
• Must be in great health and capable of carrying heavy elements on-site during setups and breakdowns.
• Must possess a reliable personal vehicle for site visits and event travel.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment while also demonstrating strong independent work ethic.
