We believe that “the people with the best people win” and as such, are looking for a dynamic DIGITAL & CONTENT STRATEGIST to join our CT agency and be part of this audacious vision.

We are looking for a brave, bright, bold and dynamic DIGITAL & CONTENT STRATEGIST on the MTN portfolio who will manage the online presence of several high-profile clients. The strategist will be responsible for creating, leading, and executing comprehensive digital and content strategies for our clients. You will work closely with creative, account, and media teams to design strategies that enhance brand visibility, engagement, and conversion. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in digital strategy, with a proven ability to work across multiple campaigns and platforms, as well as leadership experience managing teams and client relationships.

To this end we are looking for the following:

Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in digital marketing and content strategy to ensure clients are leveraging the most effective techniques.

Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive digital marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with client business objectives. Manage and optimise various digital touchpoints to drive measurable results and support client growth.

Content Strategy: Lead the development and execution of content strategies tailored to client objectives, ensuring messaging is cohesive, engaging, and optimised for each digital platform to maximise audience impact and drive results.

Cross-Channel Integration: Ensure that digital strategies are cohesive and aligned with broader marketing and branding efforts, integrating online and offline channels seamlessly.

Campaign Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of digital campaigns, from planning and execution to performance analysis and reporting.

Data-Driven Insights: Analyse performance data from multiple digital channels to inform strategy adjustments, optimise campaigns, and provide actionable insights to clients.

Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, presenting strategies, campaign results, and insights, and providing recommendations for optimisation.

Leadership: Mentor and guide as and when required to foster best practices and ensuring effective collaboration across the Digital team.

Must Haves:
Expertise:

· Strong understanding of digital channels, including social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, programmatic advertising, influencer marketing, content marketing, and performance analytics.

· Experience with emerging platforms like TikTok, Threads, and AI-driven marketing solutions Creativity & Innovation

· Ability to translate client objectives into innovative digital strategies that resonate with audiences and drive measurable engagement.

· Familiarity with creating interactive content such as augmented reality (AR) experiences, shoppable ads, and immersive storytelling.

Technical Skills

· Proficient in a wide range of digital marketing tools, including analytics platforms, SEO/SEM tools, social media management tools, AI-driven content tools, and marketing automation platforms. Experienced in working with various CMS platforms for content creation and management. Communication

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling presentations, reports, and client proposals.

· Skilled in creating persuasive storytelling narratives using data visualisations. Project Management

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects with agility, meeting deadlines in dynamic environments.

· Expertise in using tools like Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, or Trello for project coordination.

Analytical Skills

· Advanced skills in interpreting campaign performance metrics and creating actionable insights for optimisation.

· Strong command of predictive analytics and audience segmentation using AI-powered tools like Google AI Insights, Meta Advantage+, and Audience Explorer.

Visionary Thinking

· Ability to anticipate 2025 trends, such as personalised AI-driven marketing, Web3 innovations, and sustainability-focused campaigns.

Client-Centric Approach

· Excellent relationship-building skills, ensuring client objectives are prioritised while driving innovative strategies that meet expectations.

Innovation and Problem-Solving

· Passion for experimenting with emerging tools and technologies to stay ahead of the curve and solve business challenges.

· Familiarity with AI-powered A/B testing and multivariate experiments for campaign performance.

Collaboration

· Adept at working with cross-functional teams, including creatives, developers, and analysts to deliver integrated solutions.

· Comfortable navigating hybrid or remote environments using collaborative tools like Miro, Slack, and Zoom.

Adaptability

· Agile in navigating fast-paced, evolving digital landscapes, with a proactive approach to integrating changes such as AI-driven tools, evolving social platforms, or new consumer behaviours.

Experience Required

· 7–10 years of experience in digital strategy, with a proven ability to work across multiple campaigns and platforms, as well as leadership experience managing teams and client relationships.

· Experience working with high-profile clients or global brands.

· Knowledge of paid media strategy and campaign optimisation.

Qualifications Required:

•  Certificate with college or university exemption

• Marketing or advertising qualification advantageous

• Experience working with global or start - up brands
